Doctor Mae-Li Jefferson began working at KIR in 2018. She is one of our lead scientists, image-makers, analysts, & she specializes in heat-transfer mapping (a technique coined / developed by her). After randomly discovering the existence of KIR & ‘The Development’ in a zine, she began conducting independent research whilst in-residency at Yale. She created a system of data-mapping using info. about the heat given off of Bortley1 at any given time, 2 approximate its velocity, magnitude, & location in-relation 2 Earth. She eventually shared her findings with the KIR team, & was quickly hired. She now lives at KIR HQ. In her free time, she enjoys listening 2 music, getting drunk, & reading.
